For Zoom training, I not only train you but offer Q&A sessions where we discuss our methods, questions you have, and what you need to do when I cannot be hands-on with you. Now, with much experience teaching via Zoom, I know Zoom classes work and have many clients who will offer you their recommendations for our study together during this difficult time.
I’ve also learned that if you want to study with a traditional Pilates trainer with both Eastern and Western expertise, you may study with me from anywhere in the world.
Duration: Private and Duet sessions are 60 minutes each; Body Alignment Treatment and Zoom sessions are 50 minutes each.
Payment and Cancellations: Please note that payment for sessions is upfront. If you must cancel, I require 24-hour notice; less than that, you lose the session — no exceptions.

Jenny is the absolute best - she's been my pilates instructor for the past 3 months, and I can't say enough positive things about her. She takes the time to understand your goals, and builds a workout tailored to you. She pushes you to work your hardest while also being incredibly patient. She's always energetic and positive. Jenny Tate is a genius for Pilates because she is a descendent of Joseph Pilates’ original teaching methods, has all of his equipment in her West Hollywood, very private studio. But she is also a student of kinesiology, the study of how the body moves. She combines this deep knowledge of physiology with her eastern training. When you study with her is that first she studies your body as you work out with her. Then she designs a program specific to your needs. This is so different from typical Pilates studios and classes that there is no comparison. Not only have I gotten stronger, I can at my age, do 5 teasers in row without flinching, and my posture has improved.
I came to Jenny with back, leg, neck and foot aches, due primarily to my work sitting as a writer. I'm also an avid pool player and found I could barely play anymore. It was scary. Today, four years later, I can play easily for as much as four hours without interruption. I can also say that I am stronger now than I've been in twenty years. That's thanks to Jenny. Her skills as a teacher, devotion to the work, and ability to target specific problem areas in the body are remarkable. She's the best and I am grateful to her.
I love this studio! Jenny is a great teacher. I’ve taken a lot of pilates classes around Los Angeles and Jenny’s is the only one that seems to give you as much attention as a private session, even when it’s a full class. It’s always a great workout, she’s so knowledgeable about the body and works to make sure your target muscles are being worked. Her classes are always fun and different! I’ve also taken classes with Guy, and he’s great as well. Hard classes that are fun and make you want to keep coming back.
